As many have already noted, the TT Invitational at TPC Sawgrass was truly the highlight of my year. Spending quality time with Liz, Rick V., Mike D, and Abby; playing three rounds of golf on quality courses so soon after a major hurricane disrupted the area; rooming with Mike C. and sharing a foursome with Chris92009, Chuck Z., and Gary Boykin -- all were priceless. My personal highlight of the two days was my birdie on #17 on the Stadium Course.

I also joined fellow TT member and FJ Ambassador, Fred C., in his club's member-guest. While we did not play especially well, Fred and I represented TT to the best of our ability and enjoyed all the interactions with his club's members and their guests.

My favorite team titleist item for the year was the Aaron Dill takeover of the vokey wedge twitter account and the live q and a he did. It was a great look into the making of the wedges and tour players preferences.
  3. My 2017 was great. TPI fitting for a full set of clubs in oceanside.went to mesquite nevada to play wolf creek and 4 other courses in the area.

Favorite Tour moment was Jordan Spieth's holing of his bunker shot on 18 at Travelers in his playoff with Daniel Berger, and the club throwing, chest bump and the great sportsmanship fist bump between he and Berger on the green. Favorite personal moment was knocking my ProV1x wedge shot stiff on the 18th hole for the win in the Club Championship semi's after a poor tee shot, after my opponent had counted me out.
Least favorite 2017 moment, pictured below, with I'm sure more like it to come before more like above.

It's always a Titleist moment for me each time I go out with an all Titleist equipment, but some are more memorable than others.

Starting with good stats in a yearly Team Play event in SoCal was another great year with the guys.

Ireland golf in early June was fabulous!

Las Vegas golf week was a blast with a bonus of good some skins.

An overall win at my away club down Coachella Valley for a yearend quarter early this month I thought was the end of excitement until I found a box of AVX on my front door with a script from Cathi. I never felt so happy in golf.

My best was winning our Clubs Pro Days.
It is a week long event and you can play as much as you like.
Who ever shoots the low net for the week is the Pro Days Winner.
Well me and my trusty Titlest Clubs and NXT balls shot my best ever a Net 62.
What a thrill to be a Winner.

My favorite 2017 Titleist moment was the hole-in-one I recorded in July. 1st ever!

  8. I had the privilege of attending the Titleist event at Pinehurst this year. Switched from PXG to AP 3 and was fitted for a new Scotty Cameron putter. Combined with a switch to the new AVX ball (I live in Florida!) my game has never been better. The new ball ( long time Pro V advocate) is the best ball you’ve ever made! Please say hi to Gibby for me! Doc

My favorite Titleist moment of the year was on August 28th, when I shot my age!! And one moment on the course still sticks in my mind. I was 158 yards from the hole on the par 4 Fifth hole at Twisted Oaks Golf Club. I pulled my Titleist 714 AP1 5 iron, and hit my PROV1 right into the hole for an eagle. That spurred me on, through a brief rain shower to finish the round and accomplish something I have worked for and dreamed of!! BTW, I shot a 69 that day which is one stroke lower than my age. Hope to replicate this again and again with my Titleist clubs, and golf balls.
  10. Two memories stand out for me: following Jordan at Erin Hills to the 69 that started his run. Really cool looking back on it. The other was his finish at Birkdale. No words.
  11. I am 62 years young and my first recollection of hitting a golf ball was 56 years ago. On December 12, 2017 I had the first hole in one in my life. We were playing under very windy conditions and I hit my Titleist 716 AP1 Gap Wedge 111 yards into the hole. I carry a 9.6 handicap index at The Georgia Club in Statham, Ga.

  13. My (Titleist) event of the year was being fitted at TPI in Carlsbad. What superb facilities, and while I caught Dino in an off day (a cold, and an injury) he endured and I enjoyed hitting a comprehensive selection of shafts and lefty club heads, and later bought the fitting, a complete set of 917s, AP2s, and SM6s. I look forward to returning in a couple more years.
  14. In April of 2017, was a changing point in my life and I’m glad Titleist was a part of that day. You see that day , I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. After spending a couple hours in the doctors office listening to what my life was to hold it was interesting to hear that the doctor suggested playing as much golf as possible. That was a welcomed prescription. As my wife and I left the office , my head was trying to wrap around all that we just heard. So we stopped by a store to just walk around a clear my head. There in an isle for sale was a brand new Titleist black and red stand bag for sale. No other name brands , just this one bag.I had been looking at this same bag for months at high end golf shops and on line. This one was priced right and my wife purchased it for me as a gift for the future and to remember this day. Titleist put a smile on my face in what was a moment that was filled with so many mixed emotions. So every round I play with this bag, I think of that time, my wife, Titleist, and take the doctors advice and will play as much golf as long as I can. I want to reach out to all those other golfers in this community who are also living with Parkinson’s . Keep moving- keep playing golf!!! Thanks Titleist.

Late to the party here, but I love reading everyone's favorite golf moments of 2017.

Mine as well has the Team Titleist invitational at the top of the list. TPC Sawgrass was just phenomenal. Some pics below.

Finally our course hosted a Titleist Ball Fitting Day. It was a huge success. It was a very informative presentation and players hit both V and X on the LM on the range and see the results for themselves. Many had been told they needed a certain swing speed to play ProV. The fitters were able to show them with actual numbers which ball performed best for them and they left with trial sleeves of the ball.

Also got to demo the 718 line extensively. And as a result ordered a set of AP1/AP2 combo. And played some of my best golf in October and November as a result.

Like Mike D said, it's great to see so many past friends and meet new ones. It's truly a great couple days. And not enough can be said about the extent that Mike, Abby, Rick, Liz and team to to make sure we TT members have a exceptional time.

One other big highlight was playing in the Solstice Survival here in Maryland. A 54 hole stroke play tournament held around the summer Solstice. We had a foursome of TT members including Shef215 who came down from New York to play with us.

We teed off at 6:00 and holed the last putt around 8:00 PM. What an exhausting but thrilling day.

I look forward to both events again in 2018.

    Happy Holidays to everyone.

The TT Invitational is officially on my bucket list for 2018! Can't wait to hear about it. I am like every other golfer on this thread. That is we remember every shot we hit this year but can't remember our wedding anniversary!
My highlight was during a round at the home club with my trusty Prov1X. Number 1 handicap hole. LONG par four. I hit a four iron to a back left pin over a bunker that stopped at two feet. A rare birdie on the hole.

Looking forward to more in 2018.

Thanks to Titleist for all you do and Merry Christmas to everyone!
  18. My favorite titleist moment this year was when I was fit for my 716 AP1 irons an amazing addition to my bag for the freshman golf season.

My favorite Titleist memory from 2017 is my trip out to TPI, and especially the time I got to spend with Mr. Vokey during my wedge fitting. It was an unbelievable experience being able to learn from one of the best, yet one of the most humble. I learned so much in such little time, and what I learned has helped me take my game to the next level.

Here is one of my favorite pictures from the trip:

My favorite moment was seeing the people that have been to Ball Plant III. I thought that their comments and insights were illuminating, and just reinforced my decision to travel there in the summer. I can't wait to see the process in person.

My second favorite moment is the joining and interaction with TT members. I look forward to the TT invitational, and all of the discussions with people who love TT and Titleist as much as I do. Thanks to everyone - I hope you all get on the links soon!
