Other: More consistency. I know I'm capable of better, I've done it. But instead of having a few weeks or month of good golf (by my standards) followed by 11 months of middling to awful, I'd like that dichotomy to reverse itself.

If you can't have FUN when you are on the course, why play?

    1. It would be FUN to shoot my lowest score in 2018. 2. FUN in seeing that handicap come down. 3. Think of the FUN you have when you have the opportunity to play more golf. 4. The FUN you get from seeing the results from taking more lessons.

Golf is about having FUN and enjoying the journey, tee to green, one hole at a time.

It's really been a fun golf journey in 2017- always exciting to be inspired by other friends who are a better player and more so by the guys on tour. They keep me inspired to continue to work to lower my index even more. Of course, I'd also like to be competitive at the level I reach at every schedule I meet as a personal goal. It is ultimately the fun in golf for me.

Hey Mike D. I voted other. That being more consistent with my irons. I've gotten so use to just grabbing my hybrids. I really feel like I could score better with my irons.

I like to compete with myself to get better, hence the "lower my handicap" goal.

Part of the ongoing struggle, my goal for the new year is to lower my average putts per round. Would love to get to 30 or under.

Playing golf is a blessing! There is nothing better than playing a late afternoon 9 with my son.

I already play enough golf (nearly 200 rounds this year) and have way more fun than most, particularly those who can't play that much, so it ain't either of those choices. I chose "other," with my goal of getting my GIR average up over 50%. (Presently about 44%.) That will take care of lowering my handicap and likely give me a shot to shoot my lowest score.

I voted to lower my handicap. After the scoring season ended here in Massachusetts I shot 3 consecutive rounds in 70s. Right now I am a 11.5 I posted 72 rounds for the season. I know I can do it. The curve ball is I am getting right hip replaced 1/31/18. This will make me focus even harder...

I would like to break 70 for the first time. Would also like to be one of the first to hit the new 919 line this summer...hint hint

I will be taking more lessons. I have a guy I've been working with in Northern Florida that has helped a bunch. I'd also REALLY like to be able to look and try at least a couple of Scotty putters. Left handed ones are almost impossible to find in a golf store and no one wants to order a couple for me to try...

To get in better golf shape this winter. Will be looking at the TPI website!
Somehow figuring out a way to play more and at different courses.
Above all, not taking it so seriously, and having more fun!

I voted to lower handicap, and I think that will help all of the other choices.
I also want to add that I hope that I can attend Titleist Invitational No. III, where ever it may land.

Happy New year and lower scores to all, and to all good putts.

My goal has always been to lower my best score by at least one stroke every year. I've accomplished this successfully over the last few years. It gets more and more difficult, but that's the whole point. But really, my #1 goal is make my dream trip of a lifetime come true. To visit the Titleist Ball Plant in Boston and see how my favorite products in the world are made. I can't wait! Happy Holidays! #TeamTitleist

I am very consistent of the tee and my short game/putting is above average. Looking to improve my long and mid iron game: that is where most of my extra strokes are found. I rarely lose a ball, but with the irons, I can be short, a bit right or left, or long. Have to improve that part of my game. I suppose this could be in the "Lower My Handicap" category, but wanted to be more specific.

    Score consistently in the 80’s
    Avoid the blow up holes.

  19. I really want to try and play more this year, but I also want to have more fun playing and just enjoy the privilege to be out on the course!!!

    Here's to an awesome '18!!

I pave for a living and unfortunately we had to work non stop through the summer and most of the fall season too. That being said I voted for the play more option for sure. I was able to get out this week and play but now it looks like winter has hit us in eastern Pa.
