Continuing to work on my short game in order to lower my score but most important is to have more fun doing it.

    Shoot lower scores more consistently

By lowering my handicap may give me the opportunity to get my lowest score.

I made good progress on my handicap in 2017 and would like to continue in 2018. I would love to shoot my first ace as well, think I am due after 20+ years playing... but probably not haha

I used to play regularly but my rounds have declined significantly over the past five years. I'm retiring July 31 and my #1 golf goal for 2018 is to return to having golf a key part of my life.

I'm excited and optimistic. Have already started the fitness workouts and will start hitting into the net next month. Cant wait for spring....hate nets.

The older you get the more the short game needs refining. That's my goal for 2018

I chose "lower my cap", but honestly, I'd like to do all those, with maybe the exception of take more lessons. I still want to have fun and taking lessons makes me feel unneeded pressure to get better. I'm mostly self taught and got down to a 4.1 this year, but would really like to get it down into the 3s this upcoming year. Changing up my whole bag and going ALL Titleist this year so I consider that a little added bit of fun, too.

Head to TPI for a fitting and practice more!
  11. I selected have more fun mainly because I play my best golf when I am having fun. This doesn’t mean I don’t feel pressure under the gun or that I don’t care how I play, but instead allows me to enjoy this wonderful game when things don’t turn out the way you would have liked. Bottom line is that my goal is to be less wrapped up in playing really well and instead have fun playing golf.

Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!

  12. At first i wanted to beat my all time low score. This last year, with some equipment changes, (Thank you Titleist), I got my handicap down to as low as it’s been in many years. And that was in spite of some pretty bad putting.
This year, I have no doubts my overall game will be good, but i want to have the confidence that the putts are going to drop.
So that’s my goal. Putt like Spieth!

Other-I need to get up-and-down more which will lead to “all of the above”
  14. Looking forward to 2018 after playing my best under par round after changing to 718 ap1. The best iron imo on the market.
  15. My goal is to have left shoulder rotator cuff surgery so I don't have to play in pain anymore. Also awaiting my 718 ap1 irons,918 3 and 5 woods, and my 818 hybrid which I was fitted for at tpi oceanside in august

I like to play in competitive tournaments and with really good players. So, lowering my handicap will put me in a better flight and also allow me to have competitive "no stroke" games with good players.

My goal this year is to play as many of the courses on my "bucket list" as I can before an ailing back keeps me from being able to enjoy the experience. At 65 with multiple old spinal fractures, disc, nerve damage and arthritis my window of opportunity is shrinking to a pinhole.
