It would be nice if some of the SWAG was offered for sale to those who were not able to make the cut or selection to the outing

As always, first class event held by a first class team. Looks like a lot of fun and friendships were had. Best part I would ha e to say.

Hoping to jump in on 2019. The one I had the good fortune to go to was incredible.

This is my third TTI and I will say the best by far. I was blessed to have my son along, great team mates, Michael Breed, and what can you add about Team Titleist Staff...Liz, Mike Abby, Rick, and staff....the best!! I enjoyed so much more interaction this trip and played my best rounds. Thanks to ALL and I cannot wait until next year.

Had to go back and review this thread after watching the PGA this weekend. Would love to hear from some of those that went, I unfortunately missed it--only 1 of two TTI"s that I have missed. What did you think of some of the tees the Pros played compared to how it was set up for TTI?

The TTI event looks like it was a great time, but no surprise, they always are.

It was my first and have not missed one since. Play good the first day at Osprey. Played terrible on Ocean. Had 8 golf balls and lost 4 on my first two holes. Was a nervous wreck the rest of the round worried I would run out. Only good shot of the day was the one that counted. Closest to the pin on 17 won a custom Vokey. Would love to go back some day and give it another try.

That's Great Dale! What a shot on 17!

That would have been my worry as well running out of balls. Always trying to be considerate of the caddy I don't load my bag down with balls, At Pinehurst I had one sleeve, knowing it's almost impossible to lose a ball on that course.

At Whistling straits I was a bit more cautious and had two sleeves, and ended up with two in the bag at the end, lost one on the last hole. Truthfully I could have probably gotten it but it was hole 13 I think that little par 3 with the steep drop to the right. I wasn't about to go down and told our caddy not to worry, he already had a long enough day..ha

The guys down at Kiawah do not normally set up the course that hard for regular play. The length for the PGA was a little of 7800 yards which is the longest for major ever. They also cut the greens a bit closer and roll them for the PGA. Mother nature does most of the damage in setting up the course with it's fast greens which are set up high and dry out quickly with the wind blowing off the ocean. I did not attend, but have played the course many times over the years being a reside of the area. I am sure that they wanted TT to enjoy their round. It is a tough course with on any day.

yeah Chuck. You are right, on courses like that usually mother nature is the biggest defense of the course, and I know at Whistling Straits and assume it was the same at Bandon, the TT staff told everyone to play the tees they were comfortable with, nobody was forced to play a length that would make it tough for them.

The TT events while a competition are largely about having fun and enjoying the company at a first class facility and TT and the hosts courses do a great job of that.

You're lucky to live in the area and get to frequent it often!

To me, the PGA was insane. From the whites on 17, I think it was 140 or so to clear the water. Sunday was more like 185. We have had the option to play game-appropriate tees, so I just marveled walking past the tips. Titleist must have worked with Kiawah Resort to give us a day to play w/o significant wind issues. I don't remember adjusting for wind all day.
