    I am excited to announce plans for a Team Titleist weekend at Ballyhack Golf Club just outside Roanoke, Virginia.

    Ballyhack opened in 2009 to rave reviews and was designed by Lester George. The Scottish highlands layout features 70-foot elevation changes, fairways up to 150 yards wide, and fast and firm bent grass playing surfaces. Ballyhack is big, bold, and bouncy. Members are spread across the country, with less than 100 living locally.

    The Ballyhack experience is fully private, with posh but rustic on-site lodging. Cottages are four-bedroom (king), four-bathroom, with great rooms (leather seating, television, butler’s kitchen), porches, and fire pits.

    The kitchen prepares world-class food and beverage specializing in Piedmontese beef. The service culture and open tee sheet (less than 8,000 rounds per year) make everyone feel at home.

    Since 2014, Ballyhack has hosted the State Open of Virginia. This year’s State Open is the week following our Team Titleist event, so the golf course will be in perfect condition.

    This opportunity will be limited to 28 players and includes: *Friday, July 12 *arrival (check in after noon) *welcome dinner *on-site overnight accommodations

    Saturday, July 13 *breakfast *Titleist demo and fitting opportunity *golf (with forecaddy) *lunch *dinner *on-site overnight accommodations

    Sunday, July 14 *breakfast *golf (with forecaddy) *lunch

    prizes and favors

    Optional golf will be available on Friday, July 12 at Ballyhack or Dormie Club near Pinehurst, North Carolina (if that’s easier for anyone traveling from that direction).

    Titleist is kindly providing Team Titleist swag (thank you, Abby!) and staff and I are working on other favors and tee gifts that I know will be well received. I might even need to know your Foot Joy shirt sizes…

    I will post RSVP and pricing information shortly. I expect to open signups in March.

    I was fortunate to play Ballyhack a few years ago. Loved the course and facilities. Definitely interested in your event. Just hope to survive your Summer heat coming from an area where 78* is considered pretty hot that time of year.

    Ballyhack is a great championship caliber course and a true gem for Roanoke. I have played several times (my brother in law is a member) and have enjoyed each round. The course can be a monster (76.1 / 155 from the tips) but the play was always fair and good shots are rewarded. My advice to other TT members is to make the trip if you can, you won’t be disappointed.

    Can this event be a travel to event only? Meaning I have friends that live in Roanoke that I can stay with very near the course. Or is it required to stay there to play?

    Only 28 spots are available for this event. Cost is $1500 per player. $500 non-refundable deposit will be paid at time of registration, with balance ($1000) billed one month before the event.

    Optional golf is available on Friday, July 12 at Ballyhack or Dormie Club just outside Pinehurst, North Carolina (for anyone driving north).

    Looks like a great event. Having played the course I'm anxious to get back and no better time than a Team Titleist event. Hopeful to be one of the 28. Thanks for putting this together Wade.
