Yep, we just did one in San Diego a couple of week's ago. We had 20 players, some local and some from out of town. I would think there are enough TT folks to have one in the DFW area and one in the Houston or San Antonio area. Just have to get a TT member to get it started. Titleist staffers will support with a few "welcome gift" items but they don't have the band width to organize more than the couple of national events like the TT Invitational. You will have to pick the location, pick the date, fill the spots, track the players, set the pairings, etc.

I was talking about possibly non sponsored get together for a round of golf. If we could get some grab bags that would be great. It would just take some orchestrating to accomplish. I think there is a tour 18 in DFW area which would be fun. I am willing to travel to events but all the ones I am interested in are filled up this year. I am new to TT. I accidentally stumbled upon this group to be honest.

If planning an event I sure hope people are doing it to meet other TT members and to have a great time and not for the "welcome gift".

I'm hoping to host one this fall at my course if I can swing it. I've been to a few over the years and it's such a great time meeting others. 19th hole is a lot fun ;)

Most of the regional outing you will find here are "non-sponsored" local events. See this part of the website for details. www.titleist.com/team-titleist-events They can be as big or small as you want. We were fortunate enough to have several Titleist employees come to ours as they have offices here in Carlsbad. Once you get it organized and posted, reach out to Abby and see if Titleist has a few minor giveaways for your participants (understanding that the more frequently these occur, the less Titleist will be able to give away). Another tip from ours, holding it on a Saturday or Sunday will help get local people that work and out-of-towners that might travel to spend an extended weekend exploring your town. A good starting point would be to find a local TT member to help you. Pick a date and location. Start a new link on the "travel" forum and ask people to sign up there. Give them an email address so you can communicate directly with them in a faster mode than the forum. Good luck and enjoy! Tour 18 is fun. I prefer The Tribute. Others that would be good and might bring out-of-towners
are Sky Creek Ranch, The Cowboy Club, or Texas Star. Call the clubs and see if they will give you a special group rate for 10-20 players.

@travsmitty I was thinking of trying to organize something as well for North Texas area.

I am in Midland but willing to travel. I just want to encourage playing together. You never know what you can learn in the most simple complex game ever..... I think the tour 18 would be a fun course to play because it offers holes from famous courses. Just a thought. I am open to possibilities.
  8. Horseshoe Bay Resort has three outstanding courses and worth going if you get the unlimited golf package.

Would either of you be interested in going to the Byron Nelson Classic? I have an extra ticket and my dad cannot make it. It would be free. We could meet at will call and pick them up. I have tickets for Saturday and Sunday.

I have tickets to both days. Of course I will be going to each day. You are welcome to come with me. My dad can't make this one.
Travis-smith@outlook.com is my personal email. I can give my number and everything through there so we can meet up at the tourney.

I appreciate the offer but will be out of town. We can certainly meet up for a round sometime.

I live in the DFW area, sounds like fun to me. Tour 18 not in great shape, best local municipal course has to be Stevens park. Fantastic course with incredible views, very very fun to play.

I am game for where ever personally. Just would like to play with a few members here. I use to live in Spring. I moved to Midland for work from Spring.
  19. Sign me up, I am in DFW. Tour 18 is crazy priced sometimes.. same with The Tribute. We are better off doing a really nice municipal course. Let me know what I can do to help

Hey guys, I just finalized details on a Team Titleist Texas Outing to be held at Wolfdancer Golf Club in Bastrop, TX. The info should be approved on here in The Clubhouse soon. You can also go to the Facebook group, Team Titleist Texas where the info is as well.

June 1st with tee times starting at 12:00. First 32 players to sign up are welcome. Hope to see y'all there.
  23. Military
How was the event? I couldn't make it out due to work.
  24. Military
It was awesome and hard all at once. Chris P and a couple others posted some good scores so it wasn’t hard for everyone!

Travis, We had a great time. The course was at its best and getting to meet several new Titleist loyalists like myself made it even better. Hopefully we can make it an annual event in different places across Texas. HThanks to everyone that made it out and stuck around till the end for pics.
