    Managed to get out in the typical Scottish weather this morning the 2 pictures are 2 mins apart. Wind, rain, sun and hail. normal day here.

    At the start of the year I gave myself a goal of beating my current best round 75. Didn’t want to give myself any unreachable targets but wanted to challenge myself. I’m lucky that I have 2 courses I play at my club, a championship (EAST) (pb 79) course and a shorter (WEST) (pb75) course which is a bit shorter but with smaller greens is also still a challenge. I have been putting in more hours than ever practicing this year and it has paid off with a new pb +2 round of 70 this morning on the west course. Over the moon and pushing me on to get better and maybe a new goal of breaking 70.

    Great score. In admiration. A bit of work on the GIR and putting and I see a 69 on the horizon. My pro and I were discussing that the other day. Keep up the great work. Take you on my four ball team any day, if you are a senior. =)

    Dalmahoy have two great courses
    I have played and stayed there many times and it is only an hour drive from Northumberland
    It is also a tough track so congratulations and well done!
