Hey Team Titleist,
I was checking out some of our past WhereAbouts videos the other day and they reminded me about how much fun is was to work with Team Titleist members from all across the country to bring these stories to life. So, I figured why not post them all here for you guys to revisit or watch for the first time (if you didn't catch them already).
Let us know what you think of these videos below and where do you think we should go next?
Enjoy!
WhereAbouts: Augusta
For one week each April, there's only one city on every golfer's mind: Augusta, Georgia. As home to Augusta National Golf Club and all of the splendor and excitement that is The Masters, it goes without saying that golf is in the fabric of the Augusta community. With that in mind, we wanted to learn more about the local golf scene and meet some of the golfers who call Augusta home. So we reached out to a number of local Team Titleist members and hit the road to experience what makes this golf-loving community so special year-round. This is their story...
WhereAbouts: Pierce County, WA
Home to the 2015 U.S. Open, Chambers Bay Golf Course is one of the many breathtaking landscapes that comprise Pierce County, Washington. Located just south of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, in the shadow of Mount Rainier, this young links course was carved out of an old gravel pit overlooking the Puget Sound. Immerse yourself in this beautiful setting, as Team Titleist members from Pierce County share what makes their part of the golfing world so unique.
WhereAbouts: Steel City
True to the character of the Steel City, Oakmont Country Club is one of the toughest tests in championship golf. We traveled to the site of the 116th U.S. Open to meet the people who live and breathe the game and are proud to call Pittsburgh home. These are their stories.
WhereAbouts: Hartford, WI
This year, for the first time in golf and state history, the U.S Open will be staged in Wisconsin. A demanding and unfamiliar challenge awaits as the world golf spotlight focuses on Erin Hills Golf Course, a rugged and windswept layout that reflects many of the qualities of the state itself. We wanted to learn more about this heartland state and the role that golf plays in Wisconsin life. So, in preparation for the national championship, Titleist traveled to the city of Hartford, just northwest of Milwaukee, to meet the people who live and breathe the game and are proud to call the Badger State home. This is their story.
WhereAbouts: Long Island, NY
Long Island is golf. It’s the great and the good and the passionate and the proud. It’s a lengthy stretch of land that encompasses the most privileged golfers on the planet and the outsiders, guys that just want to squeeze in 18 after work more than anything else. There are golfers with their own planes teeing it up miles away from the guys that bring their adult beverages concealed in their carry bags. It is G-O-L-F to the fullest, and these are some of the journeys that get each golfer to that first tee.
