    An Indian summer is labeled as unseasonably warm weather during autumn, which is exactly what we’re seeing in Connecticut this week (70s all weekend). I know golf has a lot of really funny witty and smart terminology for things related to it so I was wondering what would we call weather that gives us hikers the gift of warm golf during November? Any funny terminology your group used or heard of?

    Although most of the guys I usually play with are pretty hardy and play in cold conditions, some do call it last round weather.

    I don't know what to call it, but it was great to play with the 70 degrees, sunny and a light cool breeze, I need a week like this every month during the winter here in Michigan.

    Years ago I played with a group of 8. Whenever someone chunked a shot, they called it a "Don Ho". According to the groups ringleader, he saw Don Ho during a Pro-Am in Hawaii chunk a shot so bad, it looked like a backhoe in the fairway.

    We call that a normal golfing day in Charleston and continue to wear our shorts and short sleeves. We golfers call it, paradise.......well you asked....with respect....but stick around it will change the next week.....ha..ha..ha..80 today....

    It's not an issue now that I live in NC, but when I was in Western NY we use to say that we were "Stealing Swings"
