What an experience! One of these days I hope to make it out to the TPI center. I’m currently gaming the first gen T100 irons and they changed my game in so many ways. I like to shape the ball both ways and the turf interaction is like a knife in warm butter. When I started gaming my T100 irons that was the key to going from a 8 handicap to a 4 because I began hitting more greens consistently. I can only imagine how great this new generation of T series irons will perform!

What a great way to showcase the new lineup, with TT members putting on a iron striking clinic. Love the sound I heard coming off those irons. Such a great job with video by Titleist's production team, probably some of most unsung stars of he company.

Great to see some TT members getting the first hands on opportunity for these irons. Looking forward to getting fit myself sometime very soon.

It's always nice to have that older back-up set in the garage for visitors or airlines screw ups. :)

How are the delivery times going to be for these irons? Are they going to be delayed like the the rest of the irons this year? Very curious, don't want to place an order and wait 10-12 weeks.

    Any thoughts?

Delivery times will remain the same I'm afraid. The team is pumping out builds as fast a possible within the quality standards we hold ourselves to.

10-12 weeks is an anomaly. I believe the standard is 3-6 weeks as of today. For the most part, the big delays were primarily due to back-ordered. 2019 T100s heads or a plethora of specific shafts and/or grips being back-ordered.

I need to get a fitting on the T-300s. The improved look has me sold.
  13. Next time around for me, just fitted for T100s earlier this year. Love them so will be looking forward in a couple years.
  14. I'm curious about the T200 Utility Build. What is the difference between a standard 4-iron T200 and the 4 iron Utility Build T200 ? Are the heads the exact same ? Is the only difference a slightly longer hybrid shaft in the Utility Build 4 T200 ? If that is the only difference, what would be the expected differences in flight, launch, spin, height, distance, etc. ... between the two ? I guess I'm just wondering why one might choose the Utility Build T200 4 iron vs. choosing the regular T200 4 iron with a lighter graphite iron shaft ?

hosel size is different to accomodate hybrid shafts in the utility build. If you wanted to use a recoil or steelfiber in the regular t200 that would be fine. But if you wanted an AD DI or Ventus hybrid shaft you would need the utility model. Also 3iron and 2 iron are available in utility only.
  16. Thanks for reply.

This may be a dumb question .... but will the new U505 be able to accommodate regular iron graphite shafts ? or just hybrid shafts ?

What are the differences between hybrid shafts and regular iron shafts ? Is it mostly just the diameter size and length of the shaft ?
What would be the benefits/disadvantages of choosing a hybrid shaft over a regular iron shaft ?

    Thanks.

I went to a fitting at Tacoma Country Club in Lakewood, Washington yesterday.

I am currently playing a set of the last generation of T200 irons which I just got earlier this year. Coming off of three consecutive sets of AP2 irons, I was looking forward to something more forgiving. But, the profile just wasn’t what I was used to and the clubs fight me when I try and work the ball or change trajectory. Now I know, stick with a players iron.

I went into the fitting wanting to see and feel the new T100. Put simply, they’re amazing! I got fit into a full set of the T100s irons. They had all of the amazing attributes of the regular T100, but Titleist hollowed out the bottom of the cavity and shoved tungsten down there, which resulted in a high ball flight for me, a typical low ball hitter. The 2° stronger loft than the original T100 is the same as my current T200 irons, so I think the transition will be smooth. In just under an hour The Fit Crew (i.e., Alan Stone) was able to get me dialed in and I was striping shots - high, low, fades, draws. I’m already anxiously waiting for them to arrive! Thanks Titleist, Fit Crew, Alan, Russ Olsen, and Jacob Sowby!

If you’ve seen information on the T Series irons and have been curious about them, I say go to a fitting. You’ll be very impressed.

Just finished my fitting earlier today and man I'm excited! I was previously gaming 718 AP1s and from Trackman, I'll be getting a solid 1.5 clubs in additional distance with better height, ball flight, spin, and angle of descent.

I highly recommend these clubs, they are crazy. I compared them with another brand which at first I thought I was going to be going with, but once I hit them off the actual ground and not the hitting bay, there was no comparison. I can't wait to get these in my bag. Probably going to have a tough time adjusting to all the new distance, but that's a problem I can't wait to have.

Keith, Which did you end up with the T200 or the T300? I have a fitting scheduled for Friday and am currently gaming the 714 AP1. Hopefully I will love whatever the fitter sets me up with.
  20. Mine are on order. Can’t wait to play them!

  23. The only regret I have about my new irons I bought (718 -ap1 ) is the pro shop I bought them from didn’t tell me the new t Clubs would be out in two weeks — I would have waited two more weeks and got a set of them
But I am very happy with my 718’s great clubs

I fell into the same trap last year when I bought the 2019 T300 irons, and then the 2021 T200s launched a few months later. I decided to give the one-season used T300s to my son and get the 2021 T200s. The newest offering is better than expected and hopefully won't need new irons for a long time.

I got mine! T100 irons...these are butter! My only "negative" is that I (emphasis on ME) lost about 10-15 yards of distance when I switched, but I can't complain too much about that since my scores are starting to drop. I'll gladly take the scoring over the shortages any day. I also don't mind being the envy of my golf companions when they see what's in my bag and on my scorecard.
