    Let’s talk wedge grinds, #TeamTitleist.

    What is a grind? How do I know which grinds I should have in my bag? These are questions we hear when it comes to crafting the right wedge setup for your game. And luckily, we’ve got one of the best in the business here to clear things up.

    We caught up with Titleist Tour Rep for Vokey Wedges, Aaron Dill, to give us the scoop on all things wedge grinds and new SM9 wedges straight from this week’s Honda Classic.

    I have to say that I just watched all of them in a row and I am now convinced that a wedge fitting is in my future. Besides the fact that my head is spinning from all the different bounce and grind options available.

    I played 60/08 M grinds forever. After getting to chat with Bob at a TPI event years ago and him telling me to quit being afraid of bounce, I switched to a 60/12 K and it was amazing the difference it made from bunkers and even around the greens on the course conditions I normally play. I recently decided to try a 60/12 D in the SM8 and I love this setup even more than the K. Great control from the sand and I like how it looks when I open the face for green side chips. So...go get fitted for wedges. With all the grinds available you just don't know what's going to work best until you try them out.

    I've been using pretty much the same grinds and lofts with some flat lie setups since the SM6's were in the bag thru the 7 & 8 sets. I've ordered the 9's twice since Orlando and no word yet. Is there a problem getting TT AMT White S300 shafts?

    I was playing the absolute wrong bounce and grind on all my wedges until I got a fitting with Titleist. The new clubs should arrive in the next 2 weeks and I'm excited to get them on the course and see how much they improve my wedge play...

    Vokey SM7 BS Wedge, 60.08 M grind
    Vokey SM6 TC Wedge, 56.08 M grind
