Jordan Spieth found himself in the winner's circle for the 13th time on the PGA TOUR after an all-Titleist playoff at the 2022 RBC Heritage against fellow Brand Ambassador Patrick Cantlay. His performance confirmed yet again why he's one of the most exciting and statically dominate players on TOUR. So in case you missed it in our recent Tour Recap, we wanted to share some fast facts about Jordan's win along with some other great insight around why he trusts Titleist from tee-to-green. • Playing a Pro V1x golf ball and full bag of Titleist equipment – including a TSi3 driver, NEW T100 irons and NEW Vokey Design SM9 wedges – Spieth finished first in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green, gaining more than 13 strokes (+13.341) on the field.
• He was the only player to gain an average of over three strokes tee-to-green per round. It was the third-most strokes gained tee-to-green in an event in his PGA Tour career; his most since 2018.
• Spieth also finished 4th in SG: Off the Tee (+4.322), 10th in SG: Approach (+4.79), 5th in SG: Around the Green (+4.232) and 6th in Scrambling (81.82%). It was the 5th-most strokes gained off the tee Spieth has had in a single tournament in his PGA Tour career.
• He was 2nd in the field in driving distance - all drives for the week, T-2 in field in GIR in the final round, and tied for the lead in par 5 scoring average for the week.
• Spieth made two eagles over his first five holes Sunday on his way to a 5-under 66, rolling his Pro V1x in from 10 feet on Harbour Town’s 18th to finish the week at 13 under. He led the field in total eagles for the week.
• On the first extra hole, Spieth got up-and-down for par from the front bunker on 18; Cantlay, faced with a plugged lie in the same trap, couldn’t match him

SPIETH ON HIS 2021 PRO V1x
• Jordan Spieth has played a Pro V1x golf ball for his entire career.
• When he made his debut at the Byron Nelson’s PGA TOUR stop as a 16-year-old amateur in 2010, he also teed up a Pro V1x golf ball.
• He has been playing his current Pro V1x (2021 model) since last year’s AT&T Byron Nelson Championship.
•“For me, the 2021 Pro V1x, I get more spin around the greens,” said Spieth before the 2021 Byron Nelson. “It’s softer, spinnier around the greens with my short game shots. And then when I went up the bag, I started to get a little bit higher launch, but it didn’t add spin in the long clubs. It just added ball speed and launch. So it’s a little higher window, but it just looks like it’s screaming through the air.
• “I’m trying to hit optimal windows and if I can gain – really, in my long clubs – just a little bit better peak height with a little bit faster ball speed, it actually helps fill my gaps a little bit easier. And then it has the potential to come down a little bit softer, which is obviously important. … So being able to tee off and all you do is change the ball and it’s actually in a similar window that’s going 3-4 yards further, that’s nice. And then when I get to the scoring range clubs, I feel like if anything, I just have the ability to hit an even softer shot if I want to. …
• “When you get into some trouble with some windy, tough golf courses, and you've got to hit these shots to short sided hole locations, to be able to have that extra spin around the greens will be really nice.”
SPIETH ON HIS TSi3 DRIVER
• Jordan Spieth plays a Titleist TSi3 10° driver, the most played driver model for two seasons running on the PGA TOUR.
• “This has been a great driver for me, it’s been fast, really forgiving. I’ve really, really liked the feel and I think it’s the best-looking driver that Titleist has ever made,” said Spieth, who finished the week 4th in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (+4.322).
• Titleist was the most played driverat Harbour Town with 46 players (35%), 36 of those being TSi3 drivers.
• Six of the nine players who finished T3 or better played a Titleist driver, five of them being TSi3 models.
SPIETH ON HIS NEW T100 IRONS
• Jordan Spieth hit 15 of 18 greens Sunday at Harbour Town, while finishing the week 10th in Strokes Gained: Approach (+4.79).
• Spieth plays a full set of NEW T100 irons, which he first put into play last summer at the Open Championship at Royal St. George’s.
• It was also at the Open Championship in 2019 that Spieth, an instrumental part of the Titleist Golf Club R&D team’s T-Series development process, made the switch to the original T100 models.
• Said Spieth: “First thing you noticed is how they look, kind of the backside of the iron. You could see the color just kind of more matted out, and then a really clean back to it. Just very simple – stays looking almost like a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity back.
• “I don’t understand why you’d play any other iron to be honest. I joke around, ‘I’m not good enough to play the blades,’ but in reality, I think we’re just being smarter. I think we’re just like, ‘Oh, we can actually hit every shot that a blade can hit.’ But that chance that we mishit them – which we’re going to mishit a few shots in a round, even in a great round, the idea that it does carry that bunker and you make birdie on a hole where someone has to get up and down for par – I mean, it could be the difference in a tournament.”
SPIETH ON NEW SM9 WEDGES
• Jordan Spieth began 2022 with NEW Vokey Design SM9 wedges in his bag, putting the new models play immediately at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
• Said Spieth: “I like to really hit my wedges with lower trajectory. I feel like that I can control my distances a lot better when I do that, so the idea that when I’m hitting three-quarter shots with those clubs on those kind of not-full yardages, maybe if you have to flight one in the wind or off an upslope, they seem to be really, really consistently coming off with that nice low ball flight. So it was a pretty easy decision for me.
• “All the good stuff stayed the same and then I felt like I could get even a little more dialed in on some of those three-quarter approach shots that a lot of times we have to have into some tucked pins out here. Without jeopardizing any of the full shots or any of the workability that I’ve always liked with my wedges.”
• This week at Harbour Town, Spieth finished fifth in Strokes Gained: Around the Green (+4.232) and sixth in Scrambling (81.82%).
