I just went to order my ProV1’s, just like my profile picture (#50). Unfortunately, that number and so many others are unavailable. I wonder why? I really love my play number as it means something important to me (as I am sure most do to people who have them). Are they gone forever, or just for the time being? Does anyone have any reason why? Just curious.

I’m not totally certain but based on what my club pro mentioned the other day was that they’re busy getting the new balls ready for release. They’re probably focused on producing that ball and sticking to the traditional play numbers before printing custom numbers. It’s only a theory though.

Hmm…. Another player fond of 50. Was at the ball plant tour on the 9th. Numerous other custom numbers are also OOS. The numbers are applied in the manufacturing process along with Titleist script.
Needless to say thousands of balls every hour are getting a number and script. But all are 2023 release balls. If you can hold off until March, if the 4-4-3 deal is again available, you can fight me for more #50’s.
Fun fact - the balls at ball plant 3 have script applied at the same spot in the dimple pattern. The X line has 2 paint stations - one red and one black. The V and AVX both go through the same single black paint station.

I’ve been to Ball Plant 3. The way they paint balls is so cool…and mesmerizing!

Try again after January 25th. As advertised in their ad this weekend on the tele during the tournament in Maui. The release date of the new Prov1 and Prov1x. Most likely they are gearing up for shipping to accounts for the release.

Ha! Just to irritate me, as 50 is my preferred number.
Any number over 4 will likely be unique among your playing group. Makes it easier to identify which of three balls in the same bunker is yours.

There’s a reason why I buy my equipment. Many of my playing are at my skill level. Why I can use a custom number.

It is now available on custom numbers. Hakuna matata.

    *Play number must be 00, 1 to 9, or 10 to 99.
