Just a quick note; I had my left knee replaced on November5, and couldn't be happier with the result.Physical therapy is going great. In fact,I went into my local PGA Superstore told the manager I had the knee done and asked if I could hit a dozen 3/4 wedges to see how the knee responded. I had no pain, no swelling and could turn freely for the first time in a long time.

    Really looking forward to 2025.

Looks like 2025 is going to be a good golfing year for you. Stick with the rehab schedule and you'll be hitting full shots on the course before you know it.

Congratulations on the successful surgery, and progress on your PT.
Hoping that trend continues, and you have a great 2025 golf season.

Good luck in your recovery. My wife is supposed to have her other knee replacement in April. On waiting list for earlier date. She followed Dr orders and did PT as directed. Her's was very successful. She is not a golfer, but into exercise and pilates. Things will be ok and you will be striking the ball down the fairway in no time. Hakuna matata.
  8. I had both knees replaced several years ago. All has gone well. Doing the physical therapy is vital key to success.

Physical therapy all the way, until you fully recover, that the way to go.
Then you'll have time to fully enjoy golf and everything else.
    Best of luck!

Had my right knee done in September doing great doing full swings now but now on waiting list to get the left one done. Make sure you do the P.T. and you will be good nice to be pain free.

Sounds great. Don't let up on PT. I had to wait for the Doctor to clear me for golf. Don't push it too soon.

    Hi Mike,

Glad your replacement has gone smoothly. Maybe we can tee it up this year? I wasn't able to play in 2024 due to some medical issues of my own, but I finally managed to visit a range twice in October. Ball generally went forward but not very far. Hoping to get some winter practice time, but temp and wind are major factors!

Thanks Tommy. Nice to hear from you.I hope you overcome your medical issues. The knee I had replaced was the same knee in which I tore the quad tendon rupture in 2006. I'm sure you remember that. You were right by my side when I went down with that injury. Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago. That's the last time we played together.Unbelievable how fast time moves.I'd love to play sometime this year if your schedule allows.Stevie, Burkey and I are still playing in a league together.Started playing with those guys in "73.Talk about time moving fast.

Thanks for reaching out. Let's stay in touch.
