I know there is already a thread for grip sizes, however I did not want to take over that thread with this question. Has anyone changed there putter grip to a bigger grip and if you, do you like it? Has it helped? I have hit with the tiger shark on a putter in the store multiple times and it feels good. Just not sure if it would help.

Honistly brother your looking for someone to make the decision for you. Putting is such a feel thing that only you will know if you should change. If you putter better with a bigger grip then make the change and stick with it.

Go with what works for you and not what the popular opinion is. You have to use the putter and if your not comfortable with it your game will suffer. I have had my putter for 3 years and it still has the grip it came with. I should probably get a new one but, I like the way it feels and it works so why change it.

Well I know it is my decision, just wanted to get other folks input to see if they have had success with a larger grip. I have tried the larger grips. I like them, but I havent been able to try one on my putter. I feel like I have more control over the ball with the larger grip. I have heard that you lose your sense of speed with the larger grip. Thanks for the input. I will probably order one and install it and practice with it for awhile. I guess we will see. Thanks.

Josh, I switched to the winn mid-size a year ago on my 2.6 Newport and have never looked back. I was a handzy putter and my pro helped me figure out that a bigger grip might take some of my wristy action out of my release. I happen to like the bigger feel because I don't have to squeeze down on the grip do hard. I didn't care for the Tiger Shark, too big for me. As it is always said, putting is such a personal thing that you'll just have to try a different grip on your stick to find out!

I have a mid-size grip on my Cameron.  The advantage that I feel with the larger grip is that they keep your hands steady (or more steady) through the swing.  Above all, you must feel comfortable with the grip.  If you are fighting the grip, you will make an uncomfortable swing.  Good luck!

I can't honesty answer this question for you from personal experience but my friend swears by the larger grip. He has tried putting with smaller grips in the past and has struggled significantly. But also I would have to say that this is personal choice and wht works best for you.
