Planning to get one round in at Kapalua (Plantation) and then I have availability to play one more time. Any suggestions on where to go? We'll be staying close to Lahaina. Been leaning towards the Member for a Day thing at King Kamehameha.

Kapalua offers iconic views and is priced accordingly. Gotta play there just to say you did. So budget for it. Kamehameha is a good second choice. Alternatively I’d recommend Wailea Blue or Gold. Other inland courses are second tier, though better priced.
It’s been a few years since I played the two Kaanapali courses. Close to where you are staying if you don’t want to battle traffic. Found them to be over rated and over priced.

Maui Golf Shop is a good source for discount tee times and solid advice on current conditions.

Have fun! (I know you will.)

Wow, that is awesome, Kapalua looks amazing every January when the tour starts there. Post some pics and have a blast!
  4. Plantation course is the star of the show in Maui in my opinion.
I've played many rounds on the Kaanapaali Royal course, and really enjoy it, we stay in condos right on the course.

Wailea Gold is another strong one, but it's about a half hour drive from Lahaina, or longer, depending on traffic. Emerald is on the same property and another strong track.

If you're wanting to play near Lahaina, the Kapalua Bay course has some nice holes, and is a pretty solid track as well.
Haven't had the opportunity to play KK club, that would be my second choice, only because I've played all the others.
