I specifically started using this ball to combat winter weather like wet fairways and windy conditions.

Can confirm that it cuts through wind and rolls out better in winter conditions than the Pro V1.

Took the plunge and bought a dozen. Can’t wait to get them out on the course now.

I agree, they are really good in the wind.

I used them when they first came out and got through a couple of dozen and agree with above, they are good in the wind and if you're looking to reduce spin on driver and longer shots without giving up too much around the green.

I switched to 2019 Pro V1 and it's been just as good although I've been working on reducing my spin, but I might give the new AVX a go especially as I've got some links courses planned for this year.

Anyone tried the new AVX yet?

I like the low spin aspect of the AVX and use them pretty much all year round... the yellow ball, of course.

Just a quick update

Tried the balls out on Friday, of course the wind was not to bad for the trial. but got to say was really impressed with the AVX.

They could be a contender to stay in the bag.
