I have to agree Mike, as you said, living in a winter wonderland the past few months, just the knowledge that I get to play golf again is incredible, but even through the season, opening a new dozen and even a new sleeve of Pro V1's inspires me to do better.  I think even more than the fact that it is a new ball, when I play a tournament it is the inspiration I get hitting a fresh ball that I enjoy the most..

i love the texture and feel of a new ball. it feels fresh and tacky. feels like the ball will stickk to the face of the club. The edges of the dimples are fresh like they are going to dig in to those wedge groves and spin alittle harder.  it has a special kinda shin to it. a nice glint in the sun light.  i feel like its going pop of the club and spin just right. i love writing my mark on the side with a red sharpie. even the sharpie mark looks brigher on a new ball. its just a great feeling. i like to play a round with the ball and post round i write the rounds score on the ball and toss it in to the pitch bag. the ball isn't retired its just in the hall of fame.

cheers greens and fairways to all

For me opening a new box of ProV1's is trying to decide what number i want to play first.  I try to buy 5-6-7-8 boxes but not all stores have them.  I also start thinking which one I want to use last.  Makes a liitle bit of fun for me but as long as I have a new ProV1 in my bag I'm happy.  Hmmm ... think I'll take advantage of the current Loyalty program ... Buy 3 get one free ... Now all I have to do is decide what number I want on them.  Dang lol.
