I remember watching the first tournament when the Pro V1's were played and everyone players commentators alike were raving about this ball. I was so excited to try some when they finally arrived in the UK and bought some in my courses Pro shop as soon as they were in. The thing I remember most is not how good the balls were, but I thought the design of the packaging was amazing. You show the sleeve or the box to any golfer and they could tell you the product!

Pretty simple: I got my first job at a golf course not long after the Pro V1 debuted. A couple other guys from our high school golf team worked there and on Mondays we would ride around looking in the woods for balls lost over the weekend. We found a lot of junky balls for the shag bags, but the feeling when you found a pristine Pro V1 was pretty awesome.

My first memory of the Pro-V1 golf ball is actually getting a ball to spin back on the green. I was about 115 yards out on a par 4 and I struck a great pitching wedge. The ball landed 3 feet past the pin and spun back to pin high. My putter wasn't working that day, however, I still got my par and a love for the Pro-V1 golf ball. We haven't been apart since!
Keep up the great work Titleist.

I remember finding a pro V1 392 in the woods at my home course when i was seven with my dad and I asked if I could keep it and he said yes and I used it all throughout the round I played and so on

One of my best memories of the Pro V1 is when I was caddying and I had to look for one of the members ball that they had miss hit and I had found 2 Pro V1's while looking for the ball that had been lost.

I have been playing golf off and on for the last 35 years. I have played many different brands. In 2010, I found a Pro V1, teed it up and made my first (and only) hole in one!! There are other balls out there with urethane covers, but none give you the confidence of a Pro V1.

First PRO V memory was whats the big deal? I had switched a year or two from Tour Balata's to the Titleist Professionals. Which at the time I thought were the best balls I had ever played. They were long (for the time) and they spun as good as balata balls. It wasn't until I was playing with a good friend and someone who was a competitor of mine. I was normally 5-10 yds longer than him off the tee consistently. When he switched to the new "super" balls he was up with me all the time causing me to lose more than my fair share of matches. So I switched and haven't really looked back. if they came out 15 years ago I have probably been playing them for 14 1/2 years.

My first memory?
The Christmas after the ball was released, I asked for a dozen on my wish list.
After we opened gifts, my Mom pulled me aside and said "I called everywhere looking for the golf balls you wanted, but no one has ever heard of the Titleist Pro Six."
Yes, she thought V1 was a pair of Roman numerals.

I was working in Washington, DC and was able to buy a dozen on pre-order. It was the longest ball I had ever played.
I broke 80 for the first time while hitting my drives with the seam lined up properly.
