I'm a 62 year old PGA Professional. I have played the Trusoft several rounds now. Comparing it against the ProV1 I normally play, I find not much difference. The ProV1 seems just a little longer off the tee, but other than that I really like the softness of the Trusoft. It does not spin off the short irons like a ProV1, or check up as quickly but really feels great off the club. It is Tru-ly Soft!

I started playing this ball last year. Added 25 yrs to my drive and about 8-12 yes to each iron. Great control off the irons and on the green. Seemed to come off the putter face a little hot at first but forced me to work on my putting and things were better. Have dropped a couple of strokes per round with this ball!

Just played my first round with the DT Trusoft and came away with my best score this season, a 92! Could have been better but pulled a couple short putts. Really like the feel of the ball off the Driver and putter. Love driving this golf ball, and with my game I've never been a high spin player so used to playing for roll out around the greens.

Picked up a dozen Tru-Softs earlier in the year. Usually play Pro-V1X, but until the weather gets better in the Northeast (and my swing gets in shape) I don't like to "waste" them. Last year tried the NXT-S, but found the Tru-Soft felt better and actually outperformed the NXT-S, not only distance and feel but was just as good around the greens. Not equal the the Pro-V, but very playable. I always carry a sleeve in the bag. Outstanding ball!

I have tried the super soft, then the Titleist. I prefer the Titleist just seems to be a bit longer and great around the green and it is a Titleist!

I love this ball. I originally switched to the optic yellow when it came out but started noticing a orange line in the center of the ball after 10-12 holes. Team Titlist sent me a dozen of white Trusoft and a dozen of NXT Tour S in Optic Yellow. So, I've switched to the NXT Tour S but would go back to the Trusoft if they are able to get rid of the orange line. The Trusoft is long off the tee and performs very similar to the Tour S from 80 yds and in.

Tried the TruSoft this year. Better distance and a good feel. Shooting better, not ready for the tour but hey,it's working. Mental aspect of the game had much improved .Not sure it's the ball but if I think it is then Ill accept it!!!
  8. I just finished my second round playing the TruSoft and really like it from every aspect. It is especially responsive off the irons. The only negative thing I noticed was that my drives had a bit higher trajectory than I would like. As a result I got a little less roll.
  9. The DT Trusoft outperformed the NXT Tour S that I have played for almost a year. Longer off the tee (10 - 15 yards) and much longer off the irons maybe up to a full club for me. Around the green the DT Trusoft did not seem to stop as well as the NXT Tour S. I know this is all about the individual player but for me I am changing to the DT TruSoft!! Great Job Titleist.

The DT Trusoft has become my new favorite ball. It has a soft feel and carries well off the tee. I recommend it to anyone.

I am a Prov1 player by choice, but got a dozen of these balls in December to give them a try during the winter months. What a great ball. I like the distance and the feel around the greens. I would recommend them to anyone who loves the Titleist brand and wants a great ball at a reasonable price. Me I am sticking with my Prov1s, but might keep a sleeve in the bag when it is cold. I think you guys have hit a home run with this ball, Mike. Similar to the cally Chrome Soft in playability and packaging.

Love this new ball, have been
Improving my scores drastically, soft feel and often a great strike when I
Hit the ball. Great job Titleist!!

The ball has a great feel off the club face. It also goes a long way for a ball that is suppose to be extremely soft. They do not perform as well as the pro v's, but are a cheaper alternative that will not be very detrimental to your game and the overall ball performance compared to the pro v's.
  14. I work at a golf course and actually found some DT true soft golf balls. I played them and was pleasantly pleased with their performance. They were long off the driver and played plenty of spin around the greens. I am interested enough to think about buying some and giving them a real trial run.

I love the Trusoft! I'm a long time Titleist proponent having played Balatas, Pro V1s, etc. The TruSoft is the first "non high performance" ball that can be knocked down under the wind. Regardless of the ability to hit low, driving shots, other "DT" type Surlyn covered balls had one flight pattern that was high. I was pleasantly surprised at the playability of the TruSoft. I'm sold as the distance off the driver is eye popping as well. Really nice ball now but with a little more spin around the greens? Wow!

Big improvement from the DT Solo. Soft but not mushy! Great value!!

I have been playing dt trusofts since release of them and I love them great feel very soft and helped me chip in from 117 yards!!
  18. I got back into golf last year...decided to take it seriously for a change...never broke 100. So I studied and took lessons, changed my ball from Top Flite to Tru Soft...a world of difference...now play consistently in the 90's...best score so far was a 90 last week...my goal is to be in the 80's...This ball is perfect for me, the feel and control are better than anything I have ever played and the price is great...thank you Titleist! By the way my irons are Titleist DCI Oversize, and my hybrids and woods are 913's...love them too!

I also play the nxt tour,i purchased a box of dt trusolf to try,i have not had time to play them yet,but I tried one in my back yard love the feel when I was chiping them, cant wait to try them
  20. Have always used the DT line. Am 80 years old with a slow swing speed. Average
drive is about 180. The new TruSoft is perfect for me. This ball rolls slightly after
landing on the green, and is smooth to chip. Have not found any other balls that feel this great.
