I'm just wondering, if you used the new Titleist online ball selector, have the results matched the ball you presently play?

Yes & Yes & it also matched the ball fitting I had two years ago. Pro V1

An actual ball fitting is the most accurate way to tell, but the Titleist online one can give you a place to start and experiment on your own.

Sure did! Did it several times and came up with the same answer. ProV1x

Just did it and it confirmed the X as the ball I should and already play. Thats the perks of going to TPI and Titleist Thursdays, you get fit for clubs while trying the Pro V1 and X.

The selector matches me with the ProV1 but I still play the ProV1x. I ascribe to the theory of, if it ain't broke leave it alone.
  6. Pro V1x all day long.

I just tried it and was surprised to be told Pro V1. I’m an X guy following a fitting last year - I love the flight and stopping power of it.

That's why I asked the original question...

Like you I have been told the V1X would be the best ball for me even though I like the softer feel of the V1.

Now he Ball Selector keeps giving me the V! as my first choice. But maybe the 2019 versions are so close that is a feel issue now that separates the two.
  12. Does anyone ever get an answer other than the Pro V1 or Pro V1x.

Yup- the ball selector recommended the Tour Soft for me with an alternate of the AVX. My conclusion- the selector really does work.

I’ve played the standard pro v1 for as long as I can remember and the selector also comes up with this for me .If it works stick with it

    Yes

    AVX

  16. Yes & Yes - Seems I am suited to a TruSoft... but I'm going to try AVX next week, just for the scientific experience.

The Ball Selector picked the ball I am already playing, Pro V1X. Use it with confidence.

Yes & Yes as well. I suppose it makes sense as after several years of trying the various balls avail the characteristics I like about the "V" are reflected in the answers I chose for the questions. What would be an interesting evaluation is someone unfamiliar with the Titleist line using the ball selector and then undergoing a ball fitting to compare results. That said though - I think it is a decent starting point.

I did try the ball selector and it said I should be using the AVX and I usually play the ProV1. I will try the AVX this season but 1st I have a new box of ProV1s to use up. It seems to be pretty accurate so I am excited to try the AVX, I may just buy a sleeve of them at the course so I can give it a try.

It matches me to the AVX as a primary match and the ProV1 as a secondary match. I play ProV1's about 90% of the time and AVX's about 10% of the time.
  21. New V1X is a BEAST! Selector said V1 for me but always been a X player

Yes & yes I was matched up with the V!, but like some of the other team members I prefer the V!X. The nice thing about these products is that you can't go wrong.
  23. I think it gives you a great starting point for what to try. I play pro1s and that’s what it suggests for my game.
