Do you have a shot that stands out as the best you've ever hit? Fill in the blank and let us know by adding a reply below...

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

I use ProV1. My best and probably luckiest shot was a 5 Wood from 185, on a long par 4 464 yds, poor drive, good wedge and then the 5 Wood, couldn’t believe it when it dropped, never forgot it, next best was a 7 iron from 144 yds, for a two.

5 iron from 202 yards on the stunning par 3 signature 13th at Notts GC/Hollinwell (lucky to be my home course).
Soft draw, pitched a foot and a half short of the hole and never looked like missing. Pro V1 safely stored away for posterity!
  3. The best shot I hit with my Pro V1x was with a wedge from the fairway at Broomieknowe Golf Club I holed my 3rd shot for a birdie and I didn’t even know it had went in until I walked up to the green.

My best ever shot was a hole in one in, Albatross, on the 258 yards par 4 Big Ravine 2nd hole at London Scottish Golf Course Wimbledon London, UK in June 2018 with a large crowd watching our game. Happy days and a feeling I will never forget.

  6. Eagle on a par 4 that was my 1st one on hole 3 at The South Buckingshire golf club in a competition.
I still have not had another one yet!
  7. The last shot I hit before lockdown. 1 down with 2 to play, playing new T200's in only my 3rd round since purchase. Hit my new 48 degree wedge to 4 feet at par five 17th to birdie and go all square.
At the last hit the same club over water to 3 feet. Birdie-birdie finish.
Love my new clubs - and haven't touched them for 7 weeks now :(
  8. Our small club Braids United was handed a 1/4 final tie against Stuarts Melville FP in the Annual 4somes Despatch trophy at the Braid Hills in Edinburgh . I n the front match , all square after 17 holes , my partner teed off and hooked a 4 iron on the par 4 last ,
I was then faced with an uphill blind into a 10 mph wind 130 yard shot from the rough tangled up at the base of a small gorse bush branch .
The lie was so bad the referee in the buggy parked between me and the pin thinking at best its a sideways hack out.
I cleared him and several spectators out the way and decided to go for broke.
With every ounce of strength I smashed my 8 iron through the boondock and flushed the ball , the PRO V1 soaring high and arrow straight , I watched the assembled spectators follow the flight , I knew it was online , "get in , get in , woahhh" shouted our watching members as the ball pitched 3 feet from the hole and shaved it stopping 7 inches past.
Our smug opponents were stunned , and as they failed to get up and down from 40 yards out team stood 1 up , The 2nd pair , playing PRO v1X ,were 1 down on the treacherous 18th ,
Our lead player smashed a drive through the wind to a few yards from the green , The Stuarts Melville boys holed out for a par and all was down to Murdo , he struck a fine putt , the ball tracking end over end and into the hole for a win and the team were through , 1 up overall and against the odds.
That day , when our backs were against the wall, we had to stand up and play the shots , when we need them most, to win .
And trust me , there is no finer golf ball to have in the bag, than a Titleist pro v1 .
  9. Best shot I've ever hit was 2nd Shot on Carnoustie 18th hole the day after the 2007 Open Championship. The 18th was playing 510 yards off the Hogan Tees and was carded as a Par 5 for the mere mortals. After I hit a great Tee shot down the centre of the fairway I was left with a 201 yard shot to the pin and I hit a 7 wood out the sweet spot and watched it sail straight at the flag and when it carried the Barry Burn in front of the green the ball rolled up the green an hit the pin lipping out for an Albatros 2 resting 3 inches from the cup..there were over 50 people by the green who roared as the ball came rolling in..
  10. My first ever hole in one after 50 years playing. 7 iron @haddingtongolf on the 14th (now the 4th) ProV1 ball
  11. I've never had a hole in one - and still haven't.
However, I entered the UK/Ireland Million Dollar Hole In One Challenge & got close.
Over 7,000 people entered by hitting 3 shots on simulators located in stores of a leading golfing retailer.
My attempts, with Pro V!, were on the Belfry's Brabazon par 3 7th. My best shot was smack on, literally, as the mighty Pro V1 landed on the green, rolled up & hit the pin but sadly bounced back a couple of inches.
But, never mind as I finished in the top 10 of the 7,000 entrants. That qualified me to be a guest at the Belfry, with the other 9 qualifiers, for a one shot attempt at a hole in one from 150 yards across the lake at the iconic 18th.
Television cameras and interviews, a large crowd of spectators around the teeing area & the green, a nasty cross wind and the opportunity to win a million dollars really cranked up the pressure nicely.
Fully focused & in control I launched my Pro V1, with a 6 iron, straight towards the pin. Sadly it came up a few feet short. That'll teach me for not using a Titleist iron I guess!
Still, the distance and spin control from my Pro V1 certainly contributed significantly to a never to be forgotten experience.
    Thank you Titleist.

6th hole par 4 on the Castle course at St Andrews. One of my best shots was a 4 iron from the top of the hill to a down hill green, pro v1x over the flag and stopped dead..... I was left with a 5ft putt which I didn't sink!
  13. My best shot was a six iron 3 shot to six inches on par 5 6th at Gainsborough GC with a prov1x best birdie ever

My best shot was a 195 yard 5 iron to a back pin on a 486 yard par 5, into the hole for a double eagle. Next 112 yard hole in one with gap wedge, next 202 yard hole in one with 4 hybrid, next 156 yard hole in on with 7 iron.
  15. The Royal Burgess Golfing Society in Edinburgh, October 2017. 5th hole, Par 3, 145 yards into a slight headwind. Career best 7 iron covering the pin all the way, 1 bounce and rolled 3 feet into the hole for my first and only hole in one. Titleist ProV1
  16. An Eagle on the par 4 18th hole at Orsett golf club whilst playing in a clubs senior competion. Getting 5 points to add to my Stablleford score & win the competition.
  17. Home course in Ireland 6th hole measures 303 yards. I had a hole in one with the club captain putting on the green. Walking towards the green i said "sorry about that" his reply was priceless "you will be when you see where it is". I have the pro v mounted at home. Happy days...

My best shot that comes to mind is at the 18th at dumfries and Galloway golf club my second shot landed past the hole and spun back into the hole. Love my vokeys and pro v 1 x. I’d of had the sm8 already if this lockdown hadn’t of happened. Hope everyone is ok and doing the best they can to stay safe in these terrible times. Hopefully get on the golf course soon.
  19. How could I have a best shot with a ProV1 when I exclusively play the amazing Titleist AVX; such an amazing golf ball . Wish I could buy this ball with the alignment stripes just like the Calloway alignment stripes proven to help align puts.

The AVX is pperfect for my game, wherein I hit very high shots and don't rely on the spin but really appreciate the added 15-20 yards in distance. I really hope Titleist will start making the AVX with better alignment stripes or at least develop a partnership with Golfballs.com for these as a special order item.
    Thanks for your consideration !
  20. My best shot with my Pro V1x, which I had just started using this year, was on my first hole in Ballinascorney GC, Dublin. It’s a Par 3 and from the winter tee measures about 155 yards. I hit my 6 iron and had my first ever hole-in-one after nearly 40 years playing golf.......Definitely my best shot using a Pro V1x.
