It sounds like the new ball is really impressing folks. I am hoping they are out and available soon in our local retail shops here in South Mississippi. Any idea on when the actual release is?

Received mine just yesterday! Very excited to start testing. Going to roll some putts tonight and hit some wedges into the simulator. Too cold to play outside and give any real feedback. So grateful for this opportunity from Titleist.

Thanks for the 2021 ProV1x balls to test. I am looking for the weather to break to test. I also notice the ProV1x seems to be softer than before with the putter, but can't tell about full shots. I will post as soon as I can once I get to the course. THANKS AGAIN.

Mine arrived today. After getting COVID over the holidays and now clear from quarantine, these are a nice present. Looking forward to putting these into play this weekend and will report back on my findings.

Received my sleeve of PRO V1s today. I switched to the left dash X but am super excited to give these a try. Temps here are in the 40s but will get out toward the end of the week when we will hit mid 50s. Review soon! Thank you TEAM TITLEIST!

I received mine on Saturday! What a nice surprise! I guess I’ll do some putting and chipping in the house to test the short game feel. Hopefully we’ll get an early spring here in Central PA for the full swing test!

Although I can "test" them indoors at the moment, a real review will have to wait for Spring.

So testing update, I did get to play yesterday 14 Jan 21, the weather was nice here in Eastern VA around high 40s low 50s. A little background I'm currently a 5.3 index handicap golfer, I play all Titleist equipment and current ball is the yellow ProV1.

The test balls are nothing short of the quality you would expect from Titleist. Visually they are brilliant white and the dimple pattern seems to be a bit different but you have to really look to see a big difference. The only issue that I see is that the cover does not seem to hold up as well as the previous ProV1 model. I the attached photo with the cartpath scuff, I tried to cut a corner on a dogleg left and caught the cartpath and the ball took a pretty big scrape and was unplayable. Also with hitting wedge shots inside 100yds throughout the round, I was noticing scuff marks from my wedges (SM7) on the ball and I changed after the front nine.

Around the greens the feel is great, I can get lots of spin if I want along with less if I'm playing that shot. Off the putter they felt just like any other ProV1 super soft and look great in front of my Scotty. Inside of 100 yards they feel really great, soft off of the clubface and just enough spin when needed.

Now when hitting a full iron (I play T100s) the sound was a bit off and even the guys in my group made a comment about the sound the ball was making off the clubface. Now with that being said the performance was great when I hit the center of the clubface. If I was off a bit the ball seemed to really pronounce the side spin from an off centered hit.

This was the same with the driver (TS2) the sound was different from my group who were playing ProV1s. I didn't notice any significant different in distance from my current ball. They did have a great penetrating flight when struck well, but I did notice a pronounced amount of side spin in either direction when not struck solid. I was able to hit several test balls and my current ball to compare the two.

Overall I think Titleist has made another great golf ball. I switch between the yellow and white so when I do run out of balls I'll probably pick up a box of these when come out. Last thing, Titleist has not found the magic solution for finding you ball in the leaves during fall/winter play. I can say that the test balls will get lost just as easily as the previous ProV1 :).

Received my test balls on Saturday 1/9/21 but it's been a little to wet and muddy to test them. Soon as course dries up a bit and it's gets warmer will be submitting my review
