I just want to find a Titleist cord.
Don't want to be forced to send the putter around the world to get one.

You like the corded putter grip? I'm torn. I grew up with a png putter so I always throw the png grip on mine. They make a corded grip that I bought because they were out of the regular (thanks corona) and I'm not sure if I like it or not yet lol. It doesn't have the tackiness of the typical png grip, but it'll probably last longer. I also play corded iron grips, can't stand anything not corded anymore in those.

I do like cords on putters. Firm feel and bare hands on cord helps when sweating out long practice sessions on the practice green.

I sent my putter back to Scotty’s custom shop, and they put on a Matador XL grip on it. Love it!

I agree, the Matador XL is a great grip. Nice and light but still a nice size and shape. It is too bad that on the Scotty site it always seems to be sold out. I've been watching that website for over a month hopeing to order two so I can replace the current ones I have on my two Scotty putters.

I purchased a nice preowned Tei3 Newport 2 Long Neck and it had a skinny png grip on it. I simply ordered a midsize matador off of Scotty's site. $36...cheaper than ebay and authentic.
  7. Get on old Scotty and a new grip lol

My new Special Select Del Mar came with a Scotty branded rubber pistol grip that I hated, so I upgraded my grip to the black matador grip with the red lettering and it is a beauty! It feels amazing too... coming from a jumbo super stroke, this matador is pure feel!! Set me back $39.99.
  9. Would be a great move by SC to allow customers that are club Cameron members and have a serial number from a putter to purchase grips and head covers that are available through custom. Sending my gamer across the country for a few months for a new grip and head cover is silly.

A never ending story about the SC grips. I have many SC NP2 putter since 1998 and will never switch to another brand but yes the standard grip on this high end putters is a joke, except the matador grip.

Look at the PGA, European, Champions or other Tour player, over 80% who are putting with a Scotty Cameron are using a SS Grip. Cantley, Spieth, Thomas…………..

Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but last I knew, Winn was manufacturing the Matador grips for SC.

Personally, I use a Matador XL on my Newport 2 and have been for years. I renew them every year. They cost $37, plus tax and shipping from SC. A similar-styled Winn is less expensive, but it doesn't say "Scotty Cameron" on it. As Titleist loyalists, most of us know and accept that we have to pay extra for that, just like anything that says "Titleist" on it. For me, I'm okay with that.
