I can not wait for my GT fitting in November.
  2. My fitting experience happened in early July and it was wonderful! The fitting team was extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time going through options to find the right fit. I was also fitted for the TSR when it came out, but my swing has changed since then. The fitting team moved me into a lighter X shaft with the new GT driver and I gained an average of 6MPH, an average of 11 yards in distance and a 7 yard tighter dispersion. Although the shaft was back-ordered (delaying my delivery), I have been playing with the new driver for a couple weeks now. I LOVE IT! At 57 years old, I am outdriving the young bucks and they cannot stand it. I was keeping up with them before, but now I am consistently longer and straighter. The fitting team also noticed the grind on my SM9 wedges and did some testing with different grinds. I moved into the SM10's with D Grind and have noticed a big difference with my wedges as well. I highly recommend a fitting session with the professionals at Titleist!!!
  3. Had my fitting Stanley Lewis at Fox hills GC on 03/09/24, he had me hitting my shots a further 15/20 yards up the fairway in no time at all, I received my new GT3 Driver and GT2 fairway clubs on the 11/09/24, played my first game with them in a pro am the next day, totally amazing, the pro was using the same clubs as me and gave me a few extra tips, tee height and stance mainly, I'd never go back to my old TSI clubs, and they were brilliant, I'd recommend these new clubs to anyone. Look out handicap your going to get smashed.

I had a brilliant fitting with John Bean, at Woburn, in mid August, he settled on a GT2 driver and fairway wood, they have added about 20 yards to my play, I tried the GT3, it was longer but I lacked consistency, maybe next year if I work hard? It was a great day, the fitting and the overall experience was one of my most memorable days, huge thank you
  5. GT2 has been great. Picked up about 7-10 yards over my TSi3. Really noticing a difference in distance & accuracy when I miss it on the face a little bit. That’s probably the biggest benefit.

My distance gains with the driver total about 10 yards during the fitting. Even tough I was fitted for the TR Ventus Red, the GD Tour AD DI seems to be giving me better results. My 15-year old has had distance gains of 15-20 yards, so 300 yard drives are now in play.

As good as my GT3 driver is, the results with my GT3 16.5 Fairway have been greater. Slightly higher ball flight. is resulting in greater distance. The GT fairway is better with low misses than the TSR.

I’ve played three rounds so far with the GT2 and love it. I’ll be picking up a GT2 3 wood soon.

"The TSR3 is good with minimal gains coming from TSi3. The GT3 feels like a completely different animal. Nothing against the Titleist engineers and designers, but I didn’t think there was that much that could have been improved upon. Well, I was wrong and am happy to eat crow for it. I can’t wait for my GT3 to arrive. Well done, Titleist. Keep it up!"  Daniel M.

"I played the TSR3 since it was released and thought it would be impossible to pass up. However, I was wrong. The GT line is a complete night and day difference. I fit to the GT3 11° TOUR X shaft, and after the first swing, I wanted to take it home. The miss hits come out way better, center shots were way longer than the TSR, and the sound was different. My fitter did a fantastic job and I'm excited to get mine soon. My average carry was 285 withe TSR3 and GT3 was 295. Never expected to gain but maybe 1-2 yards. Getting fit is something I strongly suggest. Find a good fitter and give it a swing, you will not be disappointed."  Derrick B.

"I had my fitting on July 16 with Garrett Todd. He knows my game and has fitted me twice before. When he told me I’d love it on my first swing, I had doubts it’d be better than my TSR. Then he said [I'd get] more ball speed plus bring my dispersion pattern tighter and I just had to try it. It’s better than what you’ve been reading and listening too. It’s the most solid driver I’ve ever felt. Titleist makes great clubs but [GT] is a game changer from the first swing."  Gary H.

I first tested the GT2 and the hype around the GT's was true. Felt great off the face and long, misses were still impressively long and not that far off. I then tested the GT3 and oh my lordy, as soon as I placed the club at address my confidence sky rocketed. I felt so comfortable and the belief that I could hit the cover off it. The sound and flight were impressive as well as distance, this club has now found a home in my bag.

I've had my GT Driver/3w/5w about five weeks and have a good six rounds under my belt with them. I went from the TSi to the GT but kept my old shaft (LA Golf) since the numbers with the various shafts did not change much. This helped me adjust a little quicker with the driver and I am absolutely loving the new GT head. Easily gaining 10+ yards and 3-4 mph on the club head speed. I love the sound it makes and the feel on the center face shots. I'm still getting used to the 3w with the Tensei Black shaft. The shaft is 5 grams heavier then my previous TS 3w so that has taken some time to adjust but I'm starting to get a feel for it and the club feels great. The 5w (same Tensei shaft) is new to the bag but so far has been a great add. I love the feel and height it gives me coming into greens on the 215+ yard shots. Overall I am extremely pleased with the GT clubs and looking forward to getting more comfortable with them and playing some great golf!! Thank you Titleist!!!
  10. I had my fitting on July 26th at my Country Club. I showed up and walked down the hill to the range to see what looked like a mirage in the dessert. 4 Titleist tents with 8 fitting stations, all ready to go. My fitter, Ben, took all the time i wanted, tried every shaft I wanted, and finally sold me, using the data, on a non-premium shaft for both my 5 wood and GT3 driver. I had so much fun. I absolutely love the clubs. he also fit me for new wedges, which I will order in the spring. I am now ordering a second GT driver to keep in my backup bag! You guys made me feel like royalty in the fitting.

I had my GT fitting with the Titleist FitCrew a week ago (13th) and to my surprise, the clubs arrived before the weekend. I normally play with my regular group for my weekend rounds, and I was ready to take them out for a spin, but this weekend was special as it was my club's Championship weekend. I decided to enter the Senior division of the Championship.

The question was, do I take the GT's for their maiden voyage without ever being hit or do I stick with my trusty TSR's? I figured, my fitting went well and I was excited to see the gains we saw at the range and seeing them in action. All I can say is the GT's are awesome! They feel and perfom great. The Senior Club Championship was contested over two days and 36 holes, my playing partners were very impressed with the consistency I had with my driver (I didn't tell them it was the first time I hit them). I ended up winning the gross divison (I also won the net division but I can't win both) as my club's new Senior Club Champion. I have one more big tournament in November before tournament season ends.

As always, thank you to the Titleist team behind the GT's; you folks delivered another wonderful product that makes golf fun to play and it doesn't hurt when you win some tournaments along the way

Got fitted early September and my intent was to try the new GT driver. I had been playing the png driver and was very happy with it. After talking with my fitter and trying a varied shaft and head combos, the GT3 and tour AD blue shaft, the numbers didn’t lie. I then added a 3W but the biggest surprise came when the fitter recommended a new 7W. I had never hit anything more than a 4W in my golfing life. I have to tell you, the 7W is a game changer!!!! I also added 2 new Vokey wedges. It was a great day…

I'm hearing a lot of good things about the 7W. Some are ditching their hybrid and replacing it with a 7W if the numbers work.

I ended up receiving my driver with the stock shaft as I ordered separately the Ventus Blue+ (2024 version) 6X - which Titleist didn't stock yet - through a certified fitter. My driver with the Ventus installed was really light on swingweight relative to what I like (D1), and got a heavier weight through Ebay that brought it to D4.5. First round with the heavier weight was this past Sunday, and it was absolutely spectacular! That extra head-weight gave me such confidence that the head wasn't going to abruptly turn over into a hook, which I so appreciate. Can't wait for many more rounds with it.
  15. I got the GT2 driver this fall, after playing the TSR3 and TSi3 prior to that. I have used the 3 models because I liked to put the weight one notch towards the toe to help with my tendency to hit towards the toe more times than not. With the GT models everything was different. The GT2 was the clear winner for me during my fitting. We were about set on the Tensei blue shaft and the fitter said lets try one other shaft and he pulled out the MMT Speedmesh shaft. I felt it and thought no way since it felt whippier and lighter.

It took me a few swings to sync with this new feeling and once I realized that this shaft was not going to cause a snap due to being too weak, I started to swing more freely at it and the ball flight was great. As a lifelong drawer of the ball I was surprised that I could easily hit a straight or fade shot with this setup, and that is my biggest thing I have been getting used to - hitting a way more straight ball

Off center hits are really good as well - versus hitting a bad shot, this driver gets me in play with a decent distance. I have been thrilled with this setup so far. Oh, I also played a 9º and 10º in the TSr3 because I could not decide between them and had two workable setups. The GT2 is 9º and it is perfect - nice high ball flight that is not a wounded duck.

This driver is definitely a step up from my TSr3 drivers
  16. I was playing TM drivers for years. Even tried older TSR series Titleist but didn’t find significant improvement from them. But hearing from others at my club who tried the GT models, I knew it was time to give Titleist another shot. The improvement was immediate. Once I dialed in the adjustments, I was convinced I had found my new driver.

I strayed from Titleist drivers for a couple years, lured by all the promises made by other manufacturers that never materialized for me.
I'm 63 and didn't think there was anyway to improve on driver distance, trajectory and the much needed roll out so I was contemplating moving up a tee.
I waited for Titleist to have a fitting at my club since I strongly prefer fitting outdoors on an open range to indoor fittings.
Unfortunately when the scheduled fitting time arrived I had a herniated disc in my neck but fought through the pain to get through a full bag fitting.
Jason was as patient as anyone could be as well as very encouraging and adjusted shafts until we hit the mark.
I was getting over 4000rpm of spin on the old driver so Jason changed to a slightly heavier shaft and tipped it 1/2" off the bottom to get it down to 2400rpm.
I was fearful I had wasted my time due to the injury but once my neck improved and I received the new clubs I was completely surprised.
I've gained about 20 yards on miss hit tee shots and when I hit it pure it's 40+ yards further than what I was becoming accustomed to.
I'm stubborn and still believe I can play from 6700 yard so hitting drives over 260 yards again has me staying on our blue tees.
The GT3 is the best driver I've had in years and affords me control, distance and accuracy, we all know what that does for confidence and scores.
Not moving up a tee for at least another year now :-)
