During winter months on the east coast, if I'm not putting on the carpets or chipping in the garage, I always keep up on the Team Titleist forums. What a better way to spend those 15* days.

Still playing in NW Oregon. I played a couple of rounds in December and then the onslaught of rain hit. I don't mind playing in the rain, I prefer it over the wind, but it was a bit much. It's been sunny and 40's this week, back to playing again this weekend. I got an early Christmas present, the Mr Heater Golf heater with a refillable tank and refill kit, its came in clutch during those rounds.

What keeps me motivated and the body moving, is rowing or indoor cycling 30 minutes during lunch every day, right into the far infrared sauna for 35 minutes, and end with a 5 minute cold plunge. Some days I'll swap out the row or cycle for body weight workouts followed by some hot/cold therapy. Keeps me from going stir crazy, especially during the cold rainy days.

  3. Just like some of you, I’ve been buying some golf gear, knick knacks, etc to pass the time. There is a sim close buy that has Trackman everything, so I’ve been spending a lot of time there. $30/hr for solo practice. Love looking at data, numbers during the off season, so dialing it in also.

Another thing I’m doing to pass the time is some diy at home club work. Have some old clubs that I’m just rebuilding, testing with did shafts, grips, etc. it’s cathartic.

Otherwise, just waiting until March to get back on the course.

Living here in Michigan it’s always a crap shoot on what the winter months will bring anymore. However the lack of snow in the last couple years has done miracles for the greens here.

Though we still can’t play, I keep fresh by lots of protein drinks, stretching, and 100 putts a day in the basement. Around February I start hitting the simulators. We have a glutton of them here.

Stay loose my friends and Happy New Year.
