    Mr. Vokey -
How did you first get into designing and building the best wedges in the world?
  2. Do you know if the spin on the new sm8 wedges fave a better stopping power on the green that is compared to my milled grind wedges from TM.
Because I might try to save my money to replace them, because I don’t like my current wedges and I play in tournaments for my high school, information would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely, Bryar Jackson

Hello and thank u for making GREAT products.......what is the importance of "bounce" on wedges? I play a variety of courses from tight lie to regular fairway.....thank you !!!
  4. My index is 10.5, play 60+/- rounds a year and have a SM4, 52-08 wedge which I love. The bottom of the hitting face is becoming discolored through use. Is it time to buy a new wedge? Thanks.

If someone is on a limited budget and can't change wedges as often as suggested what do you recommend? I've read all the info Titleist has posted how after 75 rounds the spin goes down. But doesn't level off where someone can adjust to the change in spin?
  6. Mr. Vokey,

How do I know if I am using the correct bounce?

Thanks you, I look forward to your response.

I am trying to learn the one hop and stop pitch. What bounce/grind is suited for the best results with this shot?

    Thank you
  8. Hey Mr. Vokey, I always wondered how the famous Vokey Wedges became what they are today?
  9. If I have tendency to take large divots do I need more or less bounce.
  10. In your expert opinion what are the key factors in determining the best shaft for a wedge? Because I use my wedges just as often for full shots as I do for chips & pitches I tend to get the same shaft or a very similar shaft to what’s in my irons, but I wonder what other elements I should be exploring to maximize performance.

    Mr. Vokey,
Due to an injury, I didn't play much golf last year, so I still have my SM6s. The faces definitely show some wear so I'm looking forward to getting fitted for the SM8s this spring. What is more important in putting spin on wedge shots ? The grooves or the fresh finish on the face of a new Vokey wedge between the grooves ?

Thanks for your love and commitment to such great wedges !
  12. Bob, as a creator what aspect of the SM8 line are you most excited for the consumers to experience?

    Thanks!

  19. Hi Bob,

First off I want to say thank you for your passion and drive to deliver the best wedges in, and make the game more enjoyable for all.

Can you describe the R&D and testing phase of developing new wedges? What specific elements were you looking to improve on during SM8's development?

    Best,
    Kyle
