When I step up to the first tee, golf ball in hand, I usually show my playing partner a Pro V1 with the number 1 and pink dots. As for Team Titleist Staff member Rick V., it's always a high number on his Pro V1x. And Team Titleist Manager Mike D. prefers to see the number 9 on his Pro V1x. So in our latest quick poll, we want to know ... what's your play number preference? Vote below and feel free to share the story (or superstition) behind your play number. [Please visit the original post to access the poll] I've always liked the low numbers, but especially the #3. I was born on January 3rd and I'm number 3 of 4 brothers.

Custom 23, on a Pro V1x. Probably the most popular number in sports.

Custom #29 with the phrase "Fight On"...alumnus of 1982.

I like using the number 3 for some reason. It makes me think eagle on par 5s, birdies on par 4s, and par on par 3s... makes no sense but I like it.

I like to play with the number 1. I figure if I'm going to make an ace the ball should say it too!

I love having my favorite jersey number over the years of 21 on my balls! Otherwise, high numbers only!

Playing number 2 reminds me that God is number 1!

I like number 1 because it conveys with the pro v1. 2 options #1 or custom numbers like 72 looks good but thats just my preference
Joe PCoventry, West Midlands
I prefer a 2 or 3, nothing fancy

When I'm not playing my Pro V1 with the number 1, I'll definitely be pulling out these number 26 golf balls labeled "@AbbyLiebs." Such a fun treat to get on Tuesday afternoon!
Best,
Abby

I think I've started going mad...now I have recently switched Pro V1 #1's exclusively. Not sure why but felt I needed to only play the #1's. Hmmm...maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Pro V1 is the #1 Ball in golf...#1 Ball...period!

Usually take advantage of the loyalty program and custom them for number 5 as that was my baseball number from little league all the way through college baseball, however if I don't have custom number I much prefer the lower numbers.

I prefer to play with low numbers (1-4), however I am partial number 2 in honor of Derek Jeter. It has been my number on my jersey for every sport I've played and I couldn't let it stop at golf.
